The Northern Caps

The Northern Caps will enhance the value and development potential of adjacent commercial properties, including the Fiesta site and Hancock Center, which are part of over 70 acres of commercial land. This area represents one of the largest future development potentials in Austin's urban core.

The project supports the vision of a new Red Line rail station, enhancing public transit options and creating a local transfer node in the regional network. This aligns with long-term urban transit plans and increases connectivity.

Central Health's renovation of the old Sears building into a clinic will be bolstered by the Northern Caps, improving access to healthcare services. The project also supports the potential for new affordable housing and co-location of social services.
